Binoculars: Astronomy: Binoculars - WHY BINOCULARS

WHY BINOCULARS?

The advantages of a pair of binoculars over a telescope are significant. Binoculars are inexpensive and readily available. Most are lightweight and |require no effort to set up.

The twin barrels of binoculars are comfortable to look through. Because they are actually two small telescopes, they create a three-dimensional effect. Binoculars provide a
wide field of view that makes it easy to find your target. It also helps that the images you see are right side up, unlike the upside-down images in many telescopes.
